Chris Olave parents are Causha Olave and Raul Olave. Chris grew up with his two siblings Isiah and Joshua in San Ysidro, California.

Isiah Olave is a college football player who plays as a cornerback for the University of California.
He joined the college in 2017 as a freshman and joined the university's football team UC Davis Aggies. He appeared as a defensive back in 11 games, recording 16 tackles.
In 2018, Isiah shifted to CB and played in that position for the rest of his campus years. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2020. The 5 feet 10 inches tall athlete also played for his high school team from 2014 to 2016.
Josh Olave is a senior cornerback for the Weber State Wildcats. He joined the college team in 2020.
Josh was a top prospect when he was playing for Azusa Pacific. He played 32 games in three seasons for the Cougars earning Academic All-Conference honor and GNAC honor twice.
Then in December 2020, Weber State signed him. In the 2020-21 season, Josh played four games where he recorded three tackles. Then in last season, he appeared in three more games and had five impressive tackles.

Olave's mom Causha worked two jobs, and sometimes she could not even be home for more than a month.
