Puzzles have always been an integral part of gameplay in Resident Evil games. The original RE4 featured some of the whackiest puzzles in the series' history, and its 2023 reimagining is no different for the most part. While some puzzles have become more grounded to have a tonal semblance with the overall game, others have become more tedious to solve.

There are also a bunch of new puzzles in the RE4 remake. One such early puzzle you may encounter in the game is the Stone Pedestal Hexagon. It's optional, but if you don't want to miss on a valuable treasure, you're in the right place. Below you will find the solution for the Stone Pedestal Hexagon puzzle in Resident Evil 4. 

How to Solve The Stone Pedestal Hexagon Puzzle in Resident Evil 4

Before you solve this puzzle, you have to acquire the three Hexagon pieces to insert them into the Stone Pedestal. 

Below are the locations of each of the three Hexagon pieces: 

  • Hexagon piece A location: You can find it at the beginning of chapter 3 inside a treasure chest in front of the Merchant.
  • Hexagon piece B location: You can find it in the Fish farmer with the bull-man and the gas container. 
  • Hexagon piece C location:  You can find it in the Small Cave Shrine where you go to get the Apostate's head for the Church key

Once you have acquired all three Hexagon pieces, head back to the Stone Pedestal.

Solving the puzzle will get you the Depraved Idol treasure, which you can sell to the Merchant for 15,000 Pesetas (gold coins.)
